Bee Hudson is an Australian mixed media artist creating vibrant, emotive works from her studio on the beautiful Mid North Coast, NSW.
Her current body of work reflects a deeply intuitive, process driven practice, exploring emotion, memory, and personal transformation. Drawing inspiration from natural landscapes and the rich traditions of abstract expressionism, Bee translates lived experience into dynamic, gestural brushstrokes, weaving layers of colour, texture, and mark making into each piece.
Working primarily in acrylics, she also incorporates pencil, graphite, oil pastels, and paint markers, embracing both spontaneity and control. Her work is raw, real, and often messy , reflecting the process of healing, reclaiming, and finding strength through art.
Bee’s creations capture a spirit of curiosity and playfulness while maintaining a heartfelt connection to experience and environment, celebrating art as both personal expression and shared exploration.
